The process of pattern designing and making involves the use of a replica of the part that needs to be casted and is then used for preparing the mold cavity. This is more like a physical model of the casting (made of either metal or wood) that will be used to make the mold.
Our engineers have worked on integrating the process of pattern designing and making which saves a lot of time, effort and costing.
Generally if the casting is supposed to be hollow then additional patterns majorly known as ‘cores’ are utilized for making the cavities.
